"This showcase will help you better understand the transition of Partners N Crime - our musical talents and wide variety of musical genres that we so love - IF YOU EVER WONDERED WHY PARTNERS N CRIME EVER DID SOMETHING, this showcase will answer your questions." - Kango Slimm

Partners N Crime, also known as P-N-C, is a group recognized as New Orleans hip hop royalty. In addition to its unique delivery of hip hop music, Partners N Crime also branched out into performing funk and jazz. It is most well known though, for its ability to rock just about any crowd, in a way unheard of before its inception.

Partners N Crime started making music together in the early 1990’s, with Walter “Kango Slimm” Williams and Michael “Mista Meana” Patterson. The duo still remains at the top of the New Orleans music scene, after touching and inspiring generations of fans. Partners N Crime has received many awards for their contribution to New Orleans music history, including the Big Easy Award and Lifetime Achievement Awards from the NOLA Hip Hop Awards, the Go DJs Coalition, one personally given to them by now Congressman Cedric Richmond, and quite a few other accolades.

Partners N Crime is not any ordinary group. They are well established writers, having written smash hit songs for stars like T-Pain, Master P, Juvenile, and many more. The group has performed in many world renowned festivals such as the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. They have also shared the stage with legendary musicians such as Dr. John, Erma Thomas, Kermit Ruffins, and Troy “Trombone Shorty” Andrews. In addition, Partners N Crime performs a popular live show with a brass band.

Kango Slimm and Mista Meana are also co-owners of HITZ International, the conglomerate that services all of PNC’s greatest hits, with full ownership of all recordings and writings. They are currently in the studio working with some of the greats, including Troy “Trombone Shorty” Andrews and many others.

Partners N Crime are of course, only partners in “musical crime”, in the sense that it is a crime that one group can garner so much epic talent and make such extraordinary music with a following that crosses all genders, races and socioeconomic lines, in the way in which P-N-C has been able to do for so many years. Partners N Crime is a brand that has demonstrated longevity as they go down in history as one of New Orleans’ premiere act
